I just got the Win8Pro upgrade D/L using the Upgrade Assistant (for my laptop). I have the full "system builder" version of Win8Pro on a usb stick (For my desktop PCs). Can I use that to upgrade my laptop instead of making another usb stick with the upgrade version?

USB 2 is around 6 mins, What's the install time with the USB 3 stick? Have you tried it yet?

So my Google Wallet page says "Your purchase will complete momentarily" but I just received my email confirmation that Google has taken my money....Hopefully I'll get the phones and not some follow up email saying it's purchased, but backordered or something.

I completely agree with you. I am SOOO tired of 3 year contracts, that I'm about to break my current contract (1 more year to go), but this phone and switch carriers for a month to month "contract" that is barely more expensive, yet unlimited even long distance, which here in Canada is pretty...

That really is the interesting question here...What will happen to cell phone prices in the future...Will other new phones sell at this price, or will they stay "up there" in the $600+ range?

Yeah, I'm also curious as to what kind of pricing the wireless charger will bring with it. As for cases, I don't like to use cases as they make the phone feel even bulkier. Unless Lifeproof makes a case for it, then I'd get one....I want to make it waterproof.

I agree that the lack of rounded corners and the aero theme are pretty ugly, but I really don't see a dual personalty with Win8. As I said before, I stay in the desktop completely. I really don't ever see the Metro screen except when I start my computer, and even then, it's just a single click away.

I upgraded from a 580 to a 670 and saw a very nice increase in performance. If the 660 is anything like the 670, get it! Not to mention that the 600 series cards support 4 monitors.

This can't be a serious question. The reality of Win8 is that if you want to stay within the desktop environment, you can. Simple as that. If you can't figure that out, what the hell are you doing here? Win8 is obviously too [H] for you. Win8 is faster than Win7, and still has a full desktop...

It's simple, the OP hasn't used Win8. If he had used Win8, he would know that it's easy to use, faster than Win7 was and Metro really doesn't get in the way at all. Just stay with the desktop environment if you don't have a use for Metro. I will not be returning to Win7, as I'm enjoying the...

I guess so, I'm only quoting Microsoft's own website. I don't know the full extent to which this means. I'm quickly becoming quite disappointed with the RT at this point in time. I do hope the Pro will be what I'm hoping it will be, for a "decent" price, although judging by the RT's price...

Well it does have Office RT, but it does NOT have Media Player. (I'm wondering what this means for media play back?!) Also: Source: Microsoft Store More we actually learn about the RT, the less appealing it becomes...Remember, the selling point is that it is a "Windows" product, yet it is...

That's what I've heard also (Nov '13). I tried it out yesterday and it's a fun simcade. Yes there's a lot still to be done, but it's nice to be able to test it out during this early stage. In comparing it to iRacing, it's less competitive, but more fun IMO. And definitely is a simcade mix.

Yup, if the price was lower, they would sell lots of them, but at the same price as the iPads, they're gonna have a harder time. They want to seem like they have a product equal in quality to the iPad, yet they don't have the app selection / availability that the iPads already have in place. I...

The Surface RT lacks usb3 and the pen which are both part of the Surface Pro.
