I'm running Vista 32 and I have flickering. Also the driver date is 9-23-2009, which is kinda old, but whatever. Anybody know how to correct the flickering issues? I noticed on the desktop it is smoother using aero.
I'm i updating the drivers correctly?
I am on Version 9.10 and Driver...
From the outside of the card we see the possibility of 4 monitors. Why should be think otherwise right? It was my first impression. But in the inner workings of the card there is only 2 video feeds I will call them to keep things simple. These feeds can go to two of the 4 ports in the...
I would really like to know what I can expect to do with stock cooling on a 680i board and this Chip and maybe some tips on starting the OverClocking Processing with these components.

I would look farther into the resolution that are being selected.
I know the Director at the local best buy where I live. They had about 10 or more on their accessory rack about 4-5 days ago. He let me take a peek before they rolled it on the floor. Best Buy would be a good place to look.
The are basicly a VGA w/a different plugin method. VGA will connect to these adapters easly. In fact my buddy got one and it had the BNC toVGA adapter w/it. Works great for multi source hookups. Like xbox and a pc.
I have my regular xbox hooked up VGA on my 2005fpw and it rocks! The colors are crisp. Its widescreen. Forza feels like you right up in the seat. And it's only @480p. A xbox 360 @1360x768 will the be shit. Plus I'm married to a women that loves the re-runs of fucking Friends. I could take...
640x480 = standard 4:3
848x480= widescreen 16:9 (i think)
1024x768= standard 4:3
1280x720= widescreen 16:9
1280x768= widescreen 16:10
1280x1024= standard 4:3
1360x768= widescreen 16:9
Is there a way to control the refrest rate in hz??

So did anybody ever get the VGA cable for the xbox 360 and hook it up to a Dell 2005fpw? If so what resolutions can the xbox 360 output in VGA mode?
jay
I don't think it will get damaged. Just don't pump more refresh rate into the monitor then what windows says it can handle. Make sure to install the driver that came w/the monitor.
What card you going to get in future??

It took me a week to get used to my 2005fpw. Now I love it!!!! The monitor seems to gain performance as it breaks in more and more. I noticed ghosting at first (very faint, almost non-existant ghosting), then it started to go away. The crispness of this monitor gets better w/a little age...
You can always wait untill the price is on sale again if you havn't already bought one. I paid 610 after taxes and shipping. Im not a bit sorry that I did.

You are proving my point. Dell will give a refurb as a replacement when they have refurbs to give out. Keep sending them back, they have more refurbs to handle. Hints recycling each others monitors. I know this becuase on my first dell system I bought several years ago I had a CRT burn out...
Or everybody could just keeping playing the return game and before you know were all recycling each others Monitors. You don't think they throw these away do you?

maybe this can help.

I wouldn't call over 2. Dells limit is 5, which is generous on their part becuase most retailers will go as low as 7. Plus you could get one w/more then two. And think. There are millons of pixels on this screen. Is it so unreasonable that there are to two dead or stuck ones?? I have one...
Thank you for backing up my findings on the Feb A01 M.I.M.
It would be cool if anybody else that has a Feb. model to take a close look at it, see if they have similiar results and report them to this forum good or bad. Pics would be a plus as always. I really want everybody to be able to...
Try powerstrip to create a custom resolution. There are some pre-sets in this software to do this. Also, go to avsforum.com and read though there. This is the one of the best sites on the net to get info/help on HTPC systems. There is a whole forum dedicated to HTPC's. I have found alot of...
No sir. I've been reading these forums for about a month before I even signed up for an account here. At the time this pic was taken the monitor had been use for 8 hrs while I was at work (that is where I had it delivered), boxed up taken home (transport time was roughly 30 minutes) used...
9800 pro 128 o/c 410mhz core and 353mhz Memory.
Me either. CS: Source plays very well at 1680X1050 if i turn the details to medium and no AA or Aniso. Infact sometimes my frames go as high as a 140 and as low as 45 depending on what is going on in the game at the time. My cpu is a 2600xp...
Here is a pic of the back light issues w/my Feb. Rev A01 Made in Mexico
Looks like they may be making these panels a little better now. I would wait till the next special comes around and then order one if you already haven't ordered something else or one of these already. BTW only one dead...
Feb Rev A01 Made in Old Mexico
It appears on this make that the issues are less then I have seen posted before on these forums. IMO it looks pretty good even when I in the room w/it.

This is my home PC rig. A 2005fpw turned sideways for picture. Case was painted using Duplicolor paint and gloss. Notice the reflections in the right side of the case :)
