You probably need to reinstall unless you are able to trim that 500 gigs down to below 40 then use a cloning tool. I don't think any of those tools can take out just windows. Pretty simple to just install fresh on the SSD. Plug it in, boot windows from the cd, tell it to install to the SSD...

^They both use the exact same actual panel from LG, the LM240WU4. I'm not sure how much they differ in the firmware(? not sure what to call it). People seem to buy whichever is cheaper :p and the u2410 has certainly been bouncing around in price. I'd personally go with the dell for the warranty...

Right out of the box without any configuration, yes, people in movies will look a bit more sunburned than intended. I am 90% sure this can be corrected through either proper configuration (on the video card driver side of things) or some software but don't hold me to that.

You've probably already done this but just go through the logitch setpoint thing and fiddle with all the settings. I think those drivers just 'push' the settings directly to windows so it may be the culprit independent of uninstalling them.

I think he means he had the card out of the mobo but still connected to the PSU and turned it on, which as far as I know is fine (if not meaningless). If the fan doesn't spin by default then the card is bad I'm sure. Double check you are using the proper power connectors to power the video...

H-IPS, it's the exact same panel as the HP version unless I am mistaken.

dell 2209wa, matte nec EA231WMi, no idea LG makes a 24" eips panel but as far as I know it is not in production in america.
