^ R295x2 destroys the $1000 NVidia Titan, now at literally half the price.

Dang. Just bought one yesterday off the egg for $550 AR. Too late to return too. Oh well... Can't believe how cheap these things are right now, insane.

Things need to get drastically cheaper if they want to push 4K any harder to enthusiasts and gamers.
We need to see some big jumps in the next year... I wouldn't get hopes up :(

For what you get this is awesome.

I don't think it will last.

295x2 were stated to be a low production video card, and I'm sure they would have stopped producing these when the 390x's come out. My guess is that they are clearing the streets of 295x2s in order to focus on the hype of the 390x which should be releasing very soon.

Otherwise, 390x discussions would bitch about how the previous generation 295x2 is so much faster, and that at least initially there won't be a 395x2, so better to clear out old inventory and just get everyone focused on the new card that will be in production.

Advantage of the 390x though of course will be power efficiency.
