I have the previous years model as well. Still going strong for bedroom LCD TV. Was an improvement from what the TV came with. I'd sum the sound quality up to par with most sound bars I've heard. Only disadvantage I have is the unit won't work with my universal remote.

The VSB200 is better - it has a digital input - this does not.
I got one of these from target and it was junk, I returned it. It sounded odd, I don't remember if it was that it was that it over emphasized highs or cut out mid sounds since it was a while ago I had it but it was just meh in general and I returned it.
