Viewsonic VX715, 6800GT ---- DVI or VGA?

With this LCD monitor (VX715) and video card (eVGA 6800GT with two DVI ports, and adapters for VGA), what is the difference in using DVI versus VGA. I'm building another system for someone and they have these. I'm guessing just go with DVI this time. He's a gamer. Thanks for any help.
 
That panel has a response time of 25ms or something like that. Unless they use a different panel in it now. How can anyone game on that?
 
Nope, says 16MS at newegg! I thought these response times weren't reported correctly anyway. I figured the VX series (one down from top-of-the-line) at Viewsonic would be OK. I guess we'll find out when he starts playing on it and get glitches. ;)

Also, kinda hard to go with DVI when they don't even f-ing supply a DVI cord or none with the video card either. :mad: Oh well, I guess he gets VGA for now and I'll tell him to buy a DVI cord. :eek:
