I have to buy an ups to connect my sony 32 inch led-TV and a blueray player.
Is it necessary that it is with pure sinewave or even a simulated sinewave model is ok?
Just to make it more clear - the "simulated" stepped sinewave is active only when on battery but not when in normal operation.
Most impulse power supply units in these devices would be OK with the stepped "sinewave" for the short periods of battery backup unless they have active power factor correction but even then they will most likely work fine, although no one can guarantee that to you.
