What do this dinosaurs know about AI? I doubt anyone in US Congress with the average age of 64 can change a LED light bulb by themselves.

Hmm, guess revisiting the fact that other countries are gonna dismiss permissibility with software licensing and other things for how they're gonna train their Models..

Guess it's another instance of societal amnesia regarding other countries not caring about our laws / IP ...

what to do about it, Hmmm

It’s obvious, only allow the rich corporations to build/train, have them paid for by public funds, host their services on non-patched systems, secure it with Huawei enterprise equipment, and train it with classified data. To top it off, higher Fred the janitor to monitor the system.

Also, if we do not want to lose our edge to China, maybe we (and the world) shouldn’t have funneled all of our shit into their factories to be built….
