Strange onboard sound issue

I currently have an AsRock X79 Champion Fatal1ty board and it uses a Creative Sound Blaster chip, while it works well in Windows, however I'm experiencing this really annoying issue sometimes when the board boots up, the sound chip refuses to load and therefore in Windows, it does not detect the onboard sound device. Does anybody know how to fix this? Apparently it seems to be a Creative issue, as I heard another user with the exact same chip on a Gigabyte Z77 Sniper board who has the same issue. I've already updated to the latest BIOS but doesn't solve this issue.

To me, sounds like driver issue. I mean, if different manufracturers have the same issue, it's improbable that this will be fixed through BIOS. It's something Creative should fix with new drivers.
