SATA Raid Question

I'm thinking of setting up a 2xRaptor Raid dealy, Does it make sense to keep my primary 80gb IDE hd as my boot drive with windows and other apps, and to just use the Raid array for loading games? Or will I see more of a performance boost if I use the array as the primary boot drive? Also, anyone got linkage to a good SATA RAID guide? Thanks in advance.

I would definatley use the two Raptors in RAID_0 as your OS booting partition. Use your 80gb PATA drive as a data/storage/imaging drive.
