I have an Asus P4PE w/ BIOS 1007 and I am trying to setup a sata drive as the boot drive in this system. I install the promise drivers and attempt to install win XP pro. I get all the way to the point of choosing a drive/partition to install and I get a "drive is inaccessable" and have to F3 to restart. Ive tried every bios setting I could think of. Can this even be done? Help please!

Once you get in there, you have to set the partitions and format the drive, then you should be able to install onto it without anymore problems.
