I just got an Abit KD7A mobo after my Epox died on me. And I new Sapphire Radeon 9100 from an RMA. After getting everything installed and a fresh copy of XP on my machine. I noticed visual things started acting wierd after a few minutes. I've tried ATI drivers 4.5, 4.4, 3.9, Omega 4.4, Omega 4.3, and the display drivers from Sapphire's website. I would start to get artifacts just moving the mouse on the desktop, and the text would turn a garbled mess. Then the computer would freeze and VM Recover would activate setting everything back to normal. This happens about every 2 minutes. I have found that if I turn Video Hardware Acceleration OFF, the computer runs fine, but even if I turn it up 1 notch, it goes crazy.
Would updating the BIOS or VIA drivers help this?
