Need a subwoofer for your computer?

"a variable 12 dB electronic low pass filter."

It'd be nice for Dayton to publish a bit more concerning the filter. They list 12 dB at 275 Hz, so I imagine they're using a fairly standard 18 dB per octave filter, but who knows. And does variable mean variable frequency or variable attenuation? In any case, the prices are somewhat high, especially for such ugly subs! :)

EDIT: Ah! They list 12 dB per octave for the 12 incher's specs, so the filter doesn't seem nearly aggressive enough. I'd prefer more of a brick wall at ~180 Hz.
