The Koolance CPU blocks are right-angled on top with their fitting outlets. You can get 90degree elbows for nearly any block currently available that has replaceable fittings.
I cant believe a block that brought the water in from the side and then returned it out the side would be worse then a block that directs the water down, has to turn thru the block and then turn the water back up to get out of the block.
Do GPU blocks have worse flow then a comparably sized CPU block with straight fittings?
On my homemade block with right angle fittings and plenty of room for flow, I noticed no significant obstruction compared to my home made block that is side inlet.
