I have a Corsair SF450 in a nice tiny case. Currently running a 1060 just fine. Thinking I can swing a 1070 without issue. Think I can go higher?

What’s the rest of your system.

If typical small form factor gear you’ll have no problem with a 1070, or 1080.

1080ti uses about 255 watt stock so depending on the rest of the system (and even heat removal capability) it might be pushing it.

When Volta comes out rumor is a 35% reduction of power at the same performance level. So that’s something to consider.

Even if you're running a 95W 8700K, you're totally fine with a 1070 which is 150W stock.

Yeah a 1070 would be nice....idk running nice stuff on lower end psu's....but it's like the good of the bad or something...actually some ok solid cheap units. still people that swore up and down took out their cpu or gpu/mobo all of it...Iv'e never seen it though...

Awesome, thanks. I have a 65 watt i5 iirc. Whoa, Volta sounds promising, I need to read up on that!
