Did you ever install the Uplift or is it just open box new with that damage? Are they still willing to honor the warranty on it? Thank you in advance for the answers.

I used the Uplift desk extension briefly but couldn't make two extensions work (one on each end was too long for the space). I wouldn't count on warranty for such a minor issue. It's structurally sound!

Thank you for the additional details. I was actually interested in if they would deny warranty on any other part of it because of the minor damage. Also, do you have the u-bolts for it?

If you mean the U-shaped weight reinforcements, yes, it comes with those!
