Hey guys, for sale here is my Asus 5970. I am selling it because I am having too many driver issues with the card (constant BSOD due to atikmpag.sys when entering 3d). I believe that there exists no hardware problem (no artifacting and no anomalies in afterbuner). I am the second owner, and to my knowledge the card is still under warranty (3 years) and has not been registered.
I am not willing to part out the card and waterblock as I do not have the stock cooler. However, if two people are interested in just the block and the bare card (the bare card must sell first) then I will separate the two, however I am undecided on the separation prices.
What is included:
-Card
-EK 5970 nickel + delrin waterblock AND backplate
-Original box and accessories (CD case, CFX bridge, molex, all CDs)
I paid $550 for the card and the waterblock and backplate were ballpark $200.
I am willing to sell them both for $450 shipped so that I can move past these driver issues and buy another card.
