Hello!
I am interested in the XFX 8800GTX. I have a few questions. ^_^
When did you purchase it?
Are you the original owner?
Did you register it within 30 days?
Is it eligible for the lifetime warranty transfer?

Or was this before they begun offering that? Here is an excerpt from their site......

"-To qualify, any 6 Series or greatrer Graphics Card purchased on or after April 17, 2007 must be registered within the first 30 days of purchase or the protection for the card will be limited to 1 year.
-To transfer protection to a second owner, the second owner will have to register the card with the same Registration ID originally issued to the card. The existing term of the Protection will also transfer to the second owner"

It was registered Jan 19th, 2007 and yes, I am the original owner of the card. It was purchased from Zipzoomfly.com. Not sure on the warranty transfer, but according to the site it should carry the double lifetime warranty.

From what I understand on the website I quoted in my first post, you got this before April 17, 2007. Therefore it is not eligible for double warranty transfer. :<

I have a question into XFX with this regard since the box stipulates the double lifetime warranty. I believe the April date was when XFX changed their policy to say that you have 30 days to register in order for this to count. But again, I have a support ticket filed to find out for sure that my card is covered by the lifetime warranty.

Any response yet? I msged the [H] XFX rep too.......

When you log into your XFX account does it allow you to transfer?
