AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, ASUS B650E-F ROG Strix Gaming WiFi, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, Computer Build Combo $549.99

Here's hoping the MC deals stay hot when I take my kid down to Disneyland come summer time ... otherwise I might find a hard time trying to explain to the wife where I was for 15 hours having driven to the nearest one and back in a day :D

For someone (like me) looking at doing a new build, wouldn’t the 7700X for $100 less or the 13700K bundle for the same price as the 7900X be a better value?

Saving $100 at the expensive of 4 fewer core, 8 fewer threads and a $100 less expensive motherboard? No.

The AMD bundle is the better value since you won't have to buy a new motherboard for the next few years. Intel LGA 1700 doesn't have much of an upgrade path.

I wouldn’t be buying anything for the next few years, other than a new GPU to replace my 1070ti, but appreciate that in 4-5 years I’ll have better options to drop a new CPU in the motherboard I buy now. Thanks all

I'd for sure hop on the AM5 train, that intel whatever socket is a dead end upgrade wise.

It's a $300 board. Does it have bad reviews?

Something about certain models with some CPUs burning up. No idea what the cause is but tends to be with X3D CPUs and ASUS boards.

Still that RAM looks decent enough. I would probably sell the motherboard and get something else if concerned. CPU is $420 on Amazon. For $130 more you get a motherboard and 32GB of G Skill RAM. Even if you value the motherboard at $50, that is a good deal.

Damn, those price are so low, yet in my country, 7900x is still ~$500. T_T

The B650E-F is one of the best B650E motherboards on the market. The one in the 7700X bundle is not as good. I would spend the extra $100.
