The short, short, short version. Have to have Overdrive on (for +20% powertune), MSI Afterburner custom fan profile set and loads on startup, but after ~5 seconds another fan profile kicks in. If I leave Overdrive disabled (booo) then the MSI AB profile stays and I don't have to worry about overheating.
Custom fan profile in RBE with reflash doesn't seem to work, and setting a manual flat % to give me the cooling I need under load is a bit annoying at idle. I can open MSI AB at any time and hit settings, then OK, and that profile will reload until next time I restart, I just don't want to have to do that every time.
Is there a way to force the MSI AB fan profile, either delayed or on 3D load? (setting of OC profile does not include fan profile), or is there another program that can be used to create a custom fan curve that might yield better success?
