OK, I'll try posting this thread again as the site seemed to get screwed up and lost the posts from the last 12 hours or something odd like that.

I'm looking for this kind of LCD for someone and wondered what would be the best all-around one for just over $200. Any ideas? Thank you.

EDIT: all right, I've narrowed it down to 3 Samsung 19" monitors and threw in the 3rd Samsung just for comparison, but it's still not out of the running even though a little bit high in $.

Samsung 940BX

$254.58 (with shipping)

Samsung 940BE-BK

$284.92 (with shipping)

Samsung 940UX

$354.58 (with shipping)

What do you guys think?

Installed it tonight and it looks great! Has two stuck pixels but hardly noticeable. Anyone know WTF good brightness and contrast setting are for this 940BX LCD? Right now it's on 35 brightness and 70 contrast.

I also installed that Natural Color Pro program and set a profile. Is that a good idea?

Also, I might try the tapping method to get the pixels unstuck. Either I'm doing it wrong or the tapping method isn't working for the stuck pixels. One looks bright green and the other looks bright blue on a black background. Any programs that work well for this?
