There's not enough light for the camera to maintain a fast enough shutter speed. Does your camera app afford you any manual control over the picture settings? You could try maxxing out the ISO (higher makes the sensor more sensitive to light but at the expense of increased noise in the image)...
I do have Prime, and I agree I think it's awesome that some HBO shows like Sopranos are available for free through Prime. I just think it's deceptive of them to advertise Game of Thrones in their images alongside free included content when each episode of GoT is $2.99. GoT has to be a huge draw...
Funny that their advertisement shows Game of Thrones, but their comparison chart between Chromecast and Roku shows they're the only ones without HBO GO.
Alternatively, I've been using Soundswitch http://soundswitch.codeplex.com/releases/view/68935 which has worked great. I made ctrl-alt-z a hotkey to switch between speakers and headphones and it works great.

Thanks for introducing me to Massdrop! I'm bummed that I just picked up the O2/ODAC last week for $270 from Mayflower before I saw this, but it is a great combo and a great deal at $230!
I threw a vote up on Massdrop for the HD650--anyone else want to join me?

Do you have Google Now enabled? There's a public alerts setting in there for "Storm warnings, earthquake alerts, and similar events" that you can enable/disable.
Ahh k I see what you're saying. Is your network PEAP with EAP-MSCHAP v2? That particular config, which my school happens to use, is what I kept reading about everyone having the issues with (the MSCHAP v2 part). Maybe everyone with those issues just needed to install a certificate. I guess it's...
I was 99% sure I was going to make Windows Phone 8 my new smartphone, probably the HTC 8x, when I finally upgraded from my basic phone. But then I discovered that WP8 can't connect to certain wireless networks like the one at my university that uses PEAP/MSCHAP for authentication. I don't...
There's pretty much a 0% chance of you recovering your money. The entire point of using the "For Goods/Services" option that tacks on a 3% fee to the seller is to protect the buyer from things like this (and to make PayPal some money, too).
Pretty disappointing, it's much nicer to use when you can just click one thing within Twitter and see the image instead of clicking it and opening a new tab at a different website.
Took me forever. At least a couple of hours. Because: I was doing the upgrade with that $16 deal thing from Windows 7 on my 64gb SSD. After 20 minutes downloading the 2gb upgrade, and a few more minutes of it unpacking and doing whatever, it told me I didn't have enough free space (x64 needs at...
You can't tell what the time is out of the box on the start screen. You have to go to the desktop to look in the bottom right corner, where it has been located for forever. If you want to know what time it is on the start screen, you have to fish through a plethora of free and paid clock apps to...
Man, that thread on this monitor in the display forum has been going strong for as long as I can remember. Mostly just people people asking for help to fix their ancient monitor :(
Can someone explain what it is about a browser that makes a company a monopoly? Beyond increasing brand recognition, how does a company profit from a browser? Hypothetically, if Microsoft directs all of its customers to Firefox, how does the consumer benefit from that choice? The browser's just...
Bummer news, guys: I got a question regarding the socket pins, which I hadn't bothered to check (I didn't even realize Intel had pins on their sockets). After taking a look, there was one missing pin (position M14, "VCC - PWR") and one bent pin (position Y8, "VSS - GND"). I was able to...

I don't know about anything special regarding exposure control for video recordings. The optical image stabilization will be helpful at minimizing hand jitters. The 920 is expected to have HAAC Rich Recording microphones. Here's a video demonstrating Rich Recording on the Nokia 808.
For me, it's the 920's camera with hardware optical image stabilization, the 920's display running at 60 Hz and with low-reflectance for viewing it in sunlight, and the 920's super-sensitive touch allowing one to actually use the phone with gloves on that does it for me. Throw in the added...
