Which parts to use and what to sell

I have dis-assembled my main system and not sure if I should sell the parts or use them to upgrade my other systems and sell those parts.

1) My FileServer has 2x E5504 cpus (2.0Ghz - 8 Cores).
I have 2 x X5550 cpus (2.66ghz - 16 cores with ht on) that I pulled from my main system.
My fileserver never has any load except from jdownloader or the occasional torrent.
I really want to keep the power usage low on the system so not sure what to do.


2) My FileServer currenly has 6GB DDR3 non-ecc ( @ 800mhz due to cpu)
I have 12GB DDR3 ECC I pulled from the main system.
I know more ram is never bad, but not sure the ECC will help with anything.

Any Suggestions?
