Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R or GA-EP45-UD3P?
I know that the only difference is one PCI-E slot compared to two PCI-E slots... supposedly...
Has anyone been able to prove otherwise?

As of right now, the R is $10 cheaper w/ free shipping... (which effectively makes it $20-25 cheaper than the P) after rebate...

Can't seem to decide between the two... any help is greatly appreciated :)

same board just the P version supports 2 cards

GA-EP45-UD3R = no crossfire

GA-EP45-UD3P = crossfireX
 
P45 Xfire is gimped. X38/X48 is the way to go for Crossfire; that is if you need it, anyway.
 
the P is on sale... for $99 after $20 Mail in rebate and $10 Newegg newsletter code =D
Made my decision a lot easier..
