too early to tell as the foldling client for the ati cards only has support for the 4850. basically you can use it to fold but the client is not using the 800 shader processors that much. the client was designed to use only the 320 shader processors on the 3870. im getting 1500ppd from each of my 4850's, dunno how much more i will get when they fix/patch the client.

umm the 3xxx,2xxx and 4xxx series can do folding and they have with a previous gpu client. they just released the client for nvidia last week. which runs on 8800 cards and up. i have a 9600gt and it gets 3700 ppd with 177.35 drivers.

should have worded my reply better. i meant that the folding client supports the 4850 but it hasnt been optimized for it.
