VIA chipsets and Vista

I havent read much of anything about Via chipsets for a while and was wondering how stable they are under Vista. Looking at replacing my old 754 media center/file server with a 6000+ I have laying around and using this Mobo.

I'm sure they'd run just fine, but if you're going to be replacing the board, you might as well get a good chipset, like an nForce 570 SLI. Let's face it, more features, less compatability issues, and not a lot more money.

However, I read that there was a mass exodus of VIA engineers so the chipset may be in jeopardy.

Why would he need SLi on a media server...?
