Razer diamondback won't scroll

Hey guys, my 3 year old Razer diamondback mouse wheel won't scroll anymore (wheel click works fine). It was working fine a few hours ago but then I felt a click as I was scrolling and then it just stopped working. I opened up the mouse and everything looks fine. The axle is intact and turns the gear fine. I even took the wheel and axle out and tried turning the gear by hand but that still didn't work. Is it time for me to get a new mouse?
 
Yeah, I restarted my computer a few times, switched USB ports, reinstalled drivers, tried the mouse in a different computer...no luck.
 
eh, three years is a good run. Try contacting Razer and see if they'll do an RMA - worth a shot - even if it's out of warranty.
 
Just found my receipt and it's actually 2.5 years old, just out of warranty. I'll try to contact Razer but I'm just gonna get a Logitech G400. I need a mouse when the BF3 beta starts :)
