Quick performance preview from PCGamesHardware. Seems to be inline with other UT3 based games, so it shouldn't be tough to max this game out and enjoy it in high-res, full detail glory.

Edit: Found a page comparing Mass Effect 1 vs Mass Effect 2 graphically. The biggest difference seems to be lighting.

Appreciate the link, but struggling to understand what relevance any of it could possibly have when the only res. tested was 1280x1024...

If you'd taken the time to look at the graphs closer, you'd see it has options to show the results for 1280x1024, 1680x1050, and 1920x1200.

you know on top of the charts you can choose other resolution...

I got my hands on a PC copy. It runs maxed (stays around 60fps) on my rig at 1080p with no aa and 16 af

Yeah when I'm in game, i get pretty much comparable fps to what they have experienced in the performance review with my hardware.
Can't hit 60 all the time with my 8800gt though

there isnt much of a difference in graphics more of a polish, it looks good and plays great you guys will like the game i can promise you that

It actually runs better than the original, particularly with AA forced on. I still think Arkham Asylum looked better for this engine though.

I keep thinking about upgrading my 8800GT to a 5770, graphs like these keep talking me out of it. I paid ~$100 for this 8800GT 18 months ago, a $170 5770 should be a huge upgrade! Then I look at these graphs and its only a gain of ~9 fps at the resolution I play at with AA on
