Freeze/Lockup unless fan at 100% [GTX285]

Hey Guys,
I'm running a GTX285 and have got a serious issue.
When I play and game be it Black Ops, Duke Nukem, CS:S I play for all of 2 mins with my fan on normal and the game freezes/locksup and the only way to fix is is to alt tab out to unfreeze it but then as soon as I start playing again it does it again and again, so now I just have to run my GPU Fan at 100% which sucks coz its so damn noisy!
I recently cleaned out my pc and gave the fan a clean with a can of compressed air, so that should have got out most of the dust.. bust still would like your opinions on what the issue could be.

System specs are

what are the temps?

as far as cleaning its possible some of the dust bunnies and crap got stuck at the end of the heatsink.

I upgraded nvida driver and that didnt help...
I installed MSI Afterburner and monitored temps and they didnt get to bad...
I then installed a GTX480 from work and played for awhile,no issues...
chucked 285 back in, still had issues...
summary 285 is $#@!ED!
went to playtech and brought a 6950,
problem solved, cheers guys for the help!
