DDR3

not sure if anyone posted this before or not, searching "ddr3" would bring up too many results.

is it just me or did 3x module DDR3 prices go up? Seems like a 25% increase across the board... is this cause of the release of socket 1156 and it's 2x module set or is there actually some kind of shortage?

actually kind of depressing to see this as now I'm not sure how long it'd take for prices to go back down.

Could be collusion on the manufactures part. But video cards have also gone up. they do have ram chips on them...

Flash drives seemed to jump also.

Remember when the economy tanked so did the price of RAM and RAM related products... Maybe the excess has been sold off and this is the norm.
