Can I record shows/movies from OnDemand?

I'm wondering if I am able to record programs from Comcast OnDemand? Will I be able to run my STB to my PC and use the OnDemand feature? I plan on using Vista Premium.

I tried searching but came up with nothing. Thanks.

Nothing is guaranteed. It all depends on your box, the channel you want to record and your local comcast rules.

As a general rule, the 2 most popular ways to record off of your STB are via Firewire if your box supports it or with an Asus HDPVR. You will have to decide for yourself which method is best for you. Here are a couple of links to get you started:

with the hauppauge, you can, but its a little bit difficult if using media center. Basically what you would do is tell it to record something that is longer than what you want to watch on on demand, then just go into on demand with your cable remote and start the movie.
