Hey guys, I have an HTPC build that I need finishing at the moment. The guts will be:

-Gigabyte MA69GM-S2H
-Corsair XMS2 (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 @ 1.8v
-AMD X2 5000+ BE 65w will probably overclock to 3.0-3.2ghz hoping @ 1.35v
-Lite-On BR Drive
-8600GT

Will be watching HiDef movies as well as recording HDTV.

I tried to use my ST60F but the thing is too long and hogs up too much space behind the optical drive. I have a Corsair 520w but I'd prefer to leave that in my main rig. What options do I have?

Thanks in advance :)

The only one I can think of modular thats cheap is that 500 watt Enermax power supply on ClubIT.com. Or the 400 watt Enermax on Zipzoomfly will do also.

This is one option. But, I wouldn't spend money on another power supply if you have one already. I would just make the best with that Silverstone PS and route the cables as best as I can. But then again, if its too much a hassle then yah buy another one.

I'd say just snag another Corsair HX420 or 520. They're good, solid units and are not very expensive. I'd say the lesser of the 2 is great for HTPC capability.

Silverstone is nice (I have one!), but they're more expensive.

there is no hx420... only a vx450 in that range, which is not modular
