Just got an Accelero X2 for my x1900XT card. Two questions though. First, after removing the stock ATI cooler, do I need to reinstall that x-shaped crossbar on the rear of the card when I put the Accelero on? The installation instructions are kind of vague... kind of an eastern european engrish. They don't even mention attaching the little contact pads for the individual chips!
Second, once I have it on, is it possible to check the card temps to make sure the cooler is seated properly, and if so, what would be the best piece of software to do it with?
