u2711 / 27" ACD screen height minus bezel?

Can anyone who has the u2711 or 27" apple cinema display tell me the actual screen height without bezels taken into consideration? They both use the same 27" 2560x1440 ips panel, but have different surface treatments. I'm trying to see if two 19" 1440x900 lcd would work well in portrait mode as "bookends" for P-L-P configuration (making them 1440 tall).

Spec sheets usually say that the dell is 16.85 to16.9" tall, assuming with bezel. The 19" LCDs seem to be about 17.2" to 17.5" wide with bezel, which turned into portrait mode would be the height. It sounds pretty close.

i answered you what I could tell you without being infront of mine. Also gave you and option for PLP or LLL.
