I hope so because I read that earlier and thought wtfI think he was being sarcastic.
RIPJames McCaffrey, the voice of Alex Casey in the Alan Wake series and Max Payne in the Max Payne series, has died from cancer. I'll always remember him as Joe Astor from the Viper series.

Definitely watched Viper. And the Dodge Viper is still one of my most fave cars.James McCaffrey, the voice of Alex Casey in the Alan Wake series and Max Payne in the Max Payne series, has died from cancer. I'll always remember him as Joe Astor from the Viper series.

Turn the FPS limiter off in the NVCP. FPS can only be limited with V-Sync when using frame gen, as far as I know. Adding the FPS limiter on top of it creates a conflict.Frame gen is making the lower quarter of the screen tear for me. Is there any way to avoid that? Gsync is on, vsync is on in NVCP, vsync is off in game. Frame rate is capped at 117 in NVCP (display caps out at 120 hz).
I didn't have any issues like that and I'm using the frame rate limiter in the control panel.Turn the FPS limiter off in the NVCP. FPS can only be limited with V-Sync when using frame gen, as far as I know. Adding the FPS limiter on top of it creates a conflict.

I don't get it. I mean, Alex Casey has the face and voice of Max Payne. Within the creative universe of Sam Lake, they are undeniably linked in some meta sense. But other than that, these games couldn't be further apart.I've finished the game.. All I can tell its superb. I've had the Max Payne feeling all the way until the end. Not so much action, but its written so well. It is one of the best games I've played probably since original Max Payne.
A good story should "show, not tell", but the entire Alan Wake 2 experience is telling and explanation after explanation.
Alan Wake 2 is over produced and pandering in all the wrong ways.
What balance tweak are you referring too?Suppose a period appropriate version of this game came out(think 360 demake) instead of American Nightmare... What I mean is that I don't think that this game is better or worse than Alan Wake in the story department.
Alan Wake 2 suffers from the same balance tweak as American Nightmare, which the bastards carried over to the remaster.
That little change is why I ultimately think that Alan Wake 2 is the inferior game.
So I don't like the combat and the story isn't blowing my mind.
Maybe the mysteries or puzzles are engaging.
Nope. My dream logic operates differently than Alan's plus I get lost easily.
Glad it wasn’t just me that found the game awful. Everytime a person/website raves about this game I question their mental stability.
Are you in a senior care home now?I’ve been gaming since 1985. Finally, a game that has a ‘senior’s care home’ sequence in it. I waited 39 years for this.
No... He started gaming at 3-4 years old like the rest of us!Are you in a senior care home now?
Unlike Atomic Heart, 1 1/2 years post release, and we don't even have a title for the 3rd DLC.
