MSI MPG A850G PCIE 5 & ATX 3.0 Gaming Power Supply - Full Modular - 80 Plus Gold Certified 850W - 100% Japanese 105°C Capacitors - Compact Size - ATX PSU
i was looking into those one too msi does good on models.
My old corsair 750 was 10 years on. When i pulled it the inside was covered with dust. But I would never use that in another build. Even with fan swap I would be worried with capacitors going bad and destroying the new build.
I guess load spikes are not a issue for some. With the 750watt and running 4 hards drives, 2 ssd nvme, 2 blueray burners, i would rather be over that under. I am more than happy that at idle with a 1000watt ps i also get zero fan if under a watt used and it also future proofs me for system...
Some people just think they know more. I had a 750watt for this rig but over 10 years it was getting old and i could see small issues cropping up.
So others go for cheap fixes to get PC up and running where I prefer to make sure i future proof what i build and go for quality.
I have had many...
I seen info anyone on stable 14 trying beta 15 1 is failing to install. only those on beta 14 is working at moment.
Issue on beta15 1 installer seeing date code error or something. Needs beta team to fix installer.
Update: New rm1000e is working as good.
System seems very responsive with plenty of power. SSD and graphics are much smoother and no glitches.
Only thing that was issue was my amazon basic battery back up lost power with this power supply. It was a cheaper low end one just to allow pc to run...
So want a newer case but also no drive bays is a now go for me.
I have a hardware, so I will wait.
I see no reason why they cant have dive bay models too.
1.corsair rm850e might be a nice upgrade.
2. tuf gaming asus 850 liking but cables all loose.
My old TX is over 10 years old now so thinking of swapping out before issues start.
B550 board, 2 nvmes, rtx4070 ryzen 7
not sure about quality but that price of about 120$ seems good.
opinions?
I watched last night and almost fell over when i saw the Pixel 8 was MVP. My wife was what was that he just said and i added i bet do to 7 years of updates just as he said the same!
we are happy with our Pixel 8 so far nice bump from the 4a5g.
Good to see 7A was mentioned too.
we use the made by google cases here too. I do not like the exposed camera glass on the google case. My wife has cracked the glass protector i got for it already by just setting it down.
So I too ordered a Rugged armor case but to protect glass back i lined it with velvet patch
product
I hope...
crazy prices, the other day it was 109$ but seeing i am getting a ps5 slim for xmas I want to make sure i have room since games are so massive now. Glade i jump on the 114$ price this morning
WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 7,300 MB/s - WDS200T2X0E
Black 2 TB no heatsink
Not sure if a super deal but for 114$ seem good to me for a PS5 slim expansion drive.
heat sink run 10$ for these to make a complete drive
I am happy with my pixel 8 so far several weeks in, smaller feeling than my 4a5g but same screen size.
google case is ok not sure i like the silicon feel of it still.
My oldest got the Pro and his battery drains in one day But I told him with larger screen and all the AI stuff with 120 hz and...
i agree the pixel case they sell was on sale with phone. I got hazel one to match pixel 8. I really like metal button but the silcon case feels slimy and ready to degrade out of box. I see that i will look for maybe a
Spigen case. I hope the add soft linning soon.
I am liking the pixel 8 so far, moved from my old 4A5g and can see the difference in screen. Phone seems smaller over all but heavier than old , mainly do to old build being plastic.
Screen size is same size to old as well.
I just set it up Friday so only a few days playing with home on...
Odd now firmware is up to date..
no idea what happened maybe it did write it but a reboot was needed.
it is odd, not sure what happened.
I have had zero issues with the drive , so that is good anyway.
I was lucky to get the deal on the P3 plus 2 tb drive for my pc from amazon.
This runs very cool even with not heat spreader.
Only issue i have is with the storage executive app fails to update its firmware just getting a code 44.
I know it is not the fastest Nvme drive out there but for a drive that is cheap. But I like that it is crucial with 5 year warranty and good speed.
Dramless drive but I am sure it will allow Starfield not to stutter every few seconds. Old 40TB drive cant do it any more. 40TB will still be great...

Amazon has the p3 plus drives all up to 2 TB on sale now.
I got a 2 TB one on way for Starfield. $79.99. I already have the P5 drive for main OS I figured this is a good drive to fill up with some game that now require a SSD.
Network all fixed now.
New router fixed line issues, cablematters 6A was good.
splitter on main level was bad too.
Now have 300 plus in all rooms.
Issues I had: laptop was not able to see over 100 meg speed. old router had bad ports, switch lost gigbyte speed (dlink).
Asus ax86Upro, Cat6a ...
OK Pc direct connect via cat7 was at 350meg now hits 370 plus speed.
wifi connetions:
And the laptop upstairs is 340meg to the new router when the old was under 50megs, and dropped connetions all the time.
Kids room opposite side of house gets 180megs.
New one is way better then old one with bad...
New router set up and the pro model offers connection over entire house. Pc got a 20 meg speed boost over old one.
USB ports working again.
But the new cable i ran was bad too.
contacting amazon for return. Might try mediabridge cat 7 this time.
Just the base firmware on it.
The last one might have got a energy spike, I lost my discos 3 modem last fall and Spectrum gave me a new one. But since then i now have them both on a battery back up unit. The issue showed itself just this month when i got a speed bump. I assume it might have been...
AX86u Pro is on way to homestead as I type.
After i get this to replace my dieting ax86s i will get the ax55 for my upstairs access point for all my smart stuff. That will give me wifi 6 coverage and still have my speed.
Cable Matters
Is the brand i got from there store on amazon. The cables are all labeled as cat6a and was replaced cat 6. But get this if i try to 5 different patch cables. 5e to 6a and all show them as sub 5e cables.
those are 3 foots ones.
Only ones that working on it are crazy cat7 thick one 5...
My older wifi asus rtax86s sees all my cables as sub cat5e.
I went from cat 6 to cat 6a through main house and still shows that.
spectrum upgraded me to 300 megs only way to get that to pc is cat 7 direct connect to router.
So any thing i connect is stuck at 97megs.
Thinking of trying out a...
