So this will be my 4th APU adventure. The other 3 can be found on the original post here:
https://hardforum.com/threads/ryzen-5-2400g-overclock-with-firestrike-and-timespy.1956026/

Right now I am using the same asrock b350 itx Fatality (finally got the bios update for Renoir/Cezonne!) as well as the 16 gb g.skill ram.

Found the 5700g on marketplace for $120.

Screenshot of results at 2400mhz ram (as a baseline) and XMP profile 1

If you have golden IMC and A2 pcb ram:
1. That 5700g can go to FCLK 2200 at least, and set the gpu core to 2300mhz @1.28v
2. Your ram can be set to 2200 (4400mhz) 18-18-18-18 @1.5v or 1.55v

The score would jump to at least 6000 overall (and graphics score to 6000 also).

This is my 5600G with Samsung B-Die (zadak twist kit 2666mhzc19):

Holy smokes, those are fantastic results with very tight sub timings. I will mess with my ram a bit for sure, but may wait until I swap out for a 32 GB set.

I am more going for htpc efficiency this time around and will in no way push this cpu/gpu as hard as I did my 2400g (of course I say that now).

I will definitely reference your timing settings, albeit lower clocks.

If you want to get more efficient and generate less heat thus making the APU more stable, you may try these settings:
APU core: 2200 1.15v
Procie: 4400 1.2v
SoC: 1.2v
Ram:
(samsung b-die) 4000mhz 18-18-8-18 trfc 324 1T 1.35v
(hynix D/C) 4000mhz 18-21-8-21-42 trfc 546 1T 1.38v
(micron e-die) 4000 18-24-18-18-42 trfc 783 1.35v

I think your graphics score could reach 5000~5300 using that settings.

Tried above settings except kept PBO -30, 2100 gpu and 3600 ram. Failed at first, but made in 2nd time:

Bumped ram voltage to 1.40 and tried 4000 mhz ram. Never had my g.skill 3200c14 anywhere near these speeds (despite trying higher voltage) nor did I have confidence in my crusty B-350. I was pleasantly surprised! :)

I will be busy the next few days, but after that, game on! I am comfortable going to 1.45v on the ram. I really like how PBO is working too. Cheers to ASRock for finally updating this bios!

Well congratz!!!
You'd be surprised that kit still has some legs on it!!! haha
Also for daily and efficiency, I will stay within 1.4, max 1.42v on vdimm.
So you can try tighten the timings and stay on 4000mhz. You can try 4133mhz and the timings on this screenshot (my 4350g + Asrock B450M HDV + Gskill OCWC 3600c16.

WOW!
The next wave should be insane!
AMD please build a decently priced MB with Quad channel and the APU's will light fire to the starved market.

Quad channel would help, but I really like the SFF design and rather not buy 4 sticks instead of 2 . I think Intel has the right idea with Meteor Lake and up to 512 MB of L4 edram cache.
The edram also does wonders should you upgrade to a dGPU.
It would definitely be nice if both companies picked up their APU game with this budget gpu drought.

Ugh I just nuked my Windows 10 OS overclocking the ram. Stupid me had no backup or restore point so currently rebuilding the drive with my os disc.

Well back up and running but ram is being difficult to overclock again. I never went over 1.45v vram or 1.2v soc so I was thinking the B350 motherboard has degraded some.

Any thoughts?
