Removing Text?

I have this site I host and the guy who did our banner is no longer in the states -
How can I remove the FL DRIFT.COM section and make it say Multi Media or Linux Server?

I want to change what the banner says for a different server I am adding for media but want to keep the same font...

Thanks for any assistance.

I don't have Photoshop on Linux and suck with GIMP.
