Yeah I hard its supposed to dim edges. But it's a pretty large chunk of edges for me and it can be pretty dim. Turning it on and off makes a big overall screen differences. I'll try to post some before and after pictures, maybe it's just my unit being this agressive?

Glossy and it's not even close, for me. I just can't stand sparkly white pages or reduced image quality. Have used both extensively for years. However my office is perfect for glossy, and there is almost never any glare.

So those 32" 4K 240hz qdoled gen 2 are apparently releasing this Feb-March. This 42C2 served it's purpose amazingly as a stop gap for such displays. I will retire it with full honors, served me so well.

Well, now I know what the next display to turn this 42C2 in for at BestBuy (geeksquad ftw) will be. This thing seems GOATed.
