    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

Of course! I usually quote them because no one else really does the testing that they do but that does not mean that they notice or get every single thing correct now does it? And instead of being an asshole why don't you go back and look what the issue was with my computer a year and a half...

    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

Well on the PS5 I didn't see any ray tracing issues, but he If he is blind if he didn't notice issues on PC because they're pretty obvious. I guarantee you I've spent more time playing through that game than he did testing it. I've done two full playthroughs including all the DLC and have spent...

    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

Ray tracing is garbage in this game and if you don't notice it, then you should never ever be in any type of debate about image quality. It actually has worse shadows in areas and the flickering lights can create these little black lines at times. And even the ray traced reflections in some...

Nvidia reflex capping my fps at 58

I fired up Fort Solis today and my fps was capped at 58 fps but disabling reflex fixed that issue. I knew Witcher 3 had reflex and checked it and sure enough it was capped at 58 fps also. This was not happening before and nothing has changed on my end so what is going on???

    The Callisto Protocol (survival/horror)

Ray tracing on the PC version is garbage in spots and inconsistent at best. Anyone that thinks it looks good is blind. The shadows look better without ray tracing in some areas and the reflections look like absolute garbage in some spots similar to how screen space reflections look in the RE...

    Red Dead Redemption 2

Anyone else having trouble updating? First time I tried it just sat there for over 5 minutes on the updating launcher screen. I closed it and restarted and then it went to my games but never started the download. Restarted again and same thing with it not starting the download. Fourth damn time...

    NVIDIA RTX 50 “Blackwell” GB202 GPU GDDR7 384-bit memory

There are architectures that have scaled much better than others. The current architecture scales rather poorly and the only other one I've ever seen that scaled as bad was Kepler. I think what's really holding the 4090 back though is that it's only using 72 of the 96 MB of cache.

Goodbye Origin - EA App is now in session

It is still resetting my EA app settings every couple of days. On the EA forums they removed all six of my comments that I had made in two existing threads on the topic saying it was considered spamming. In fact I noticed that some other user's comments complaining about this issue had also been...

The Last of Us Part I

I wonder why in the hell they never fixed DLSS and DLAA. DLSS has a few little issues and DLAA is complete garbage in this game. I mean did they not even take five seconds to look at its implementation? The game also still has a few other graphical issues that have never been fixed.

    NVIDIA RTX 50 “Blackwell” GB202 GPU GDDR7 384-bit memory

No, the 4090 "literally" has 68% more cores than the 4080 and does not scale worth a shit in most cases. Even at 4k the average performance difference is less than 30% in the latest techpowerup review.

Goodbye Origin - EA App is now in session

This POS keeps changing my settings. It has even changed my download location a few times and I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it as it would hang every time I tried to change it back. Now every other day it changes the overlay settings, usage sharing and a couple of others.

    GeForce RTX 4070Ti Super Reviews

There is something going on with the 4070 TI super. There are cases where the 4080 is over 20% faster than the 4070 TI super which makes zero sense based on the specs difference. And really if you look at reviews performance is all over the place.

    [Steam] Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice 90% off @ $2.99 till 1-24-24

I thought the VR version was pretty much a vomit train. All you're doing is just bobbing around right behind her as it's still in third person.

    [Steam] Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice 90% off @ $2.99 till 1-24-24

Medium RT does certainly help quite a bit. It is a shame they never optimized the game better. They went through all that trouble to update the game to DX12 with RT but only made it stutter worse than the original version.

    [Steam] Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice 90% off @ $2.99 till 1-24-24

No it doesnt. With ray tracing on it has fairly large spikes through the whole game. Without ray tracing its the typical UE garbage of traversal stutters through the whole game. EDIT: DX11 seems to be quite a bit smoother with less hitching. What is strange is that what I see on the screen...

Game still has lots of hitching and with ray tracing maxed there are some large stutters. And before some clown says "it must be your pc", it did the exact same thing on my previous PC and there are plenty of complaints about it on Steam forums.

    Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

This game is giving the wrong prompts such as telling me to press X when it should be A. I googled it and this has been an issue since it launched well over 2 years ago. How in the hell did this not get patched right after release?

It'd be nice if the game devs would actually fix some of their shitty current implementations of DLSS and DLAA.

    Dead Space remake (2023)

The Xbox Series X version really started stuttering pretty bad in latter chapters and there were times where it was choppy as hell. I can't even finish the final boss without it crashing and that seems to be a problem that can happen since launch.

    Dead Space remake (2023)

The traversal stutters seem to have nothing to with otherwise having a load screen or not. You can encounter those back to back in one short hallway within seconds of each other. And it absolutely is low standards not to care especially when you have a very high end pc because you wanted the...

    Dead Space remake (2023)

Every game I see stutter in are the games that are well known to have it. FFS the games I just mentioned are notorious for the stutters. And please not the it must be your PC BS. Dead Space remake (2023)

99% of the stutters in the game are traversal stutters. You can run back and forth and watch it stutter over and over at the trigger point. I know when I go down a hall where and how bad each stutter will be every single time no matter which direction. Both Star Wars games do basically the same...

    Dead Space remake (2023)

I have over 20 hours on pc and over 15 hours on the X so I know the stutter areas very well. Now the amount of stutter can vary a bit depending on exact pc and monitor setup. Gsync makes the stutters much more noticeable to me and in fact just panning around has tiny bit of jitter compared to...

    Dead Space remake (2023)

It happens to some degree on EVERY setup. Even the consoles stutter in the same spots but just not as severe. I know exactly where it is going to stutter when I run through areas. How in the hell someone can not see it is just amazing.

One thing nice with xbox is that cloud saves are standard. You can fire up a game on a new series X that you last played on the Xbox 360 and it will pick up where you left off. BTW I thought selling my Xbox series S would be easy but nobody wants this thing.

Show me that $350 gaming PC? :D And it's hard to put a price on plug and play for those that don't want to fool with a PC. Plus the fact that you could spend $5,000 on a gaming PC and still have way more issues than a typical console game. For instance, Dead Space runs nearly perfect on the...
