This is a tiered storage system, so it is more like bcache then a logical volume manager.
EDIT: Just noticed I have the exact same number of posts as you (1,526).
Thanks, always useful to know when US DST ends, was only 1 week out of sync with the UK this year, was fairly easy to manage cross country live events.
Yeah, considering that the 780, 780ti, Titan and Titan Black were the same GPU and pretty much the same card I would say KazeoHin is spot on.
NVIDIA could ship the 980Ti whenever they want.
The 390X should also be a die shrink so we may get a larger performance boost then expected.
And rumours that they will finally use HBM so we might get massive gains in the amount of memory and bandwidth on the card.
Not really, AMD were completely destroying Intel on the CPU front and continually putting out CPUs that were cheaper and better then the one Intel would launch later, then Intel decided to pay companies to make there programs run slower on AMD and AMD started to lose out until Intel had the...
Most Steam game OST come with 2 folders, one with MP3s and the other with FLACs, if you are going to be using the FLACs you won't be playing them though steam player.
When was the last time you unplugged it? Some of the capacitors on the motherboard may have gone, and that isn't noticeable until the rig is fully disconnected from the power.
@Nexillus: If you are not already you really should be doing clean driver installs.
Upgrading drivers directly from one version to the next causes issues on both AMD and NVIDIA, heck a few months ago it caused NVIDIA drivers to kill peoples GPUs.
And we also see plenty of people having issues with NVIDIA software too, bugs are not exclusive to AMD.
Also microstutter was fixed around 6 months after NVIDIA fixed it.
AMD software is just as stable as NVIDIA software (which does have bugs)
"But here i'm reading AMD has never had...
Lol.
They said they won't give it to Intel EARLY.
When it comes out of beta, then Intel can have it.
Also lol at Mantle being a gimmick.
Lets see, its better then OpenGL, its better then DirectX and its not OS bound. And its easier to develop for then either OpenGL or DirectX.
Nobody even uses DX 11.2
DX12 will require at minimum Windows 8.2
DX is windows only.
DX has a slow update time and is limited to new OS versions whilst Mantel will get yearly updates and only need a driver update.
