You should have gotten into a different game. If you can get in at the beginning of a game, you can get into squads much easier. I've run into what you've experienced though, and it sucks. Hard. The game is worth it though. Just find a squad, and let them know you're brand new to the game...
That is not the problem. The problem is that you cannot buy a new Windows 10 key from Microsoft anymore. I will NOT put Windows 11 on any of my machines. When that day comes, they all will be switching to linux. I've already done that on my laptop.
I need to upgrade an old desktop running 7 Home. I just want to make sure I understand the process before a start (already backed everything up).
So, can I just install 10 as a new install, then use the massgrave.dev process to activate it? Do I need to 7 key for that process, or does it...
Wow. I never considered using Blender for video editing. To be fair though, it's not like Blender doesn't have a learning curve either. ;) I've used it a bit, but not a ton.
Oh. I didn't realize that, obviously. Still, it'd be nice if they got it to release state before starting to churn out DLCs. Although it's nice for people who play EA games I guess.
I started playing this and enjoyed it. Then the devs posted an ad online saying they were hiring, but they were only interested in interviewing people with a certain color skin. Uninstalled, and removed from my Steam library.
It had to do with the H.265 codec. Apparently, I didn't have the codec installed on Win 10. I tried installing it (the free version) from the Microsoft Store, but that didn't help. I got a copy from free-codecs.com, and that fixed it. Here's the link: H.265 codec for Windows 10
I'm looking for software for editing my GoPro videos. I used to use Lightworks, and liked it, but it doesn't do 4k without buying the pro version. Since the pro version is $24/month, and I edit videos about once every 5 years, that's not worth the price. I tried Davinci Resolve 18, but when I...
GoPros tend to have a problem where they lock up and start working. They've used the same processor forever, and it just pukes. When they work, they're brilliant.
So, when this is billed as a "survival horror" game, is the survival aspect the same as in shooters? Don't die. Or is it a survival as in, you have to find food and water, shelter, weapons, crafting etc.?
I'd like to see those images split with one side the ships you own that are currently playable, and the other side being the ships that aren't in game yet (or were, but currently aren't). It seems that most of the ships aren't playable.
I've only play the original Dark Souls. I really like it, though it's a horrible console port. Mods help fix that though. I enjoy difficult games. Easy games don't give me any satisfaction when I beat them. If I play them, I grow bored and quit quickly. So I like the challenge of them...
Kerbal Space Program 2
Falling Frontier
V Rising (assuming it goes off of EA in 2023)
Baldur's Gate 3 (assuming it goes off of EA in 2023)
7 Days to Die (assuming it goes off of EA in 2023) LOL
I'm not sure how you can say that this game is nothing new. Well, at least when it first was released. There was nothing like it. It's not a standard looter-shooter.
Yeah. I'm confused.
Maybe he's punishing the Russian people for what Putin did. I wonder if he doesn't play any game owned (at least in part) by TenCent.
I'm digging the game. However, I can tell within 30 seconds whether we have a chance or not. If I join a side and there 3 or fewer garrisons up, we're gonna lose. It shocks me that people will run into the point, get into a firefight, die, and do it again. Over and over. But they refuse to...
I picked it up. The music is decent. It's always got a very consistent beat, which, of course, is pretty necessary for a rhythm game. It changes tempo, but that's about it. But it's still good. I like it. Gameplay is pretty good, though a bit weird. For example, early in the game I got a...
Interesting. I haven't heard much about Dying Light 2, other than it's just not as good. I haven't seen the difficulty drop off yet. But I'm not that far in. I played all the way through the Hellraiser DLC. It took about 12 hours, and I died a LOT. It was cool, and reminded me of Hexen or...
Sorry to necro this thread, but I recently picked up Dying Light on a Steam sale. I didn't expect to like it, but I'm really enjoying it. It's damn fun.
Do be prepared to die. Often.

Do run scavs regularly.
Do understand scav karma rules.
Don't hunt Cultists at first.
