I think it's probably a case that the truly talented/experienced people left that studio so the studio was no longer capable of making games at the quality level that they used to
Serves them right. Bethesda should be next IMO though i know that won't happen. Rocksteady needs to die too for shitting out Justice League or whatever that pos is called
Thanks guys
And a more general question is, what is the quickest way to encrypt or password Protect a drive?
I'm buying a massive 44TB WD external drive will be RAID 0 since it the data will be backed up on other drives, so it won't ever be my single source of data. If I were to encrypt it...
instead of using Veracrypt, I'm going to use Microsoft Bitlocker to encrypt the next external hard drive I get. I haven't used bitlocker before but based on what i've read about it it seems like it will do what I need it to. I would probably use the password option since I'll be building a new...
$2.5k, hell not even an MSRP of $3k would stop people from buying them day 1 and bragging about it, and posting updates on the shipping status of their card or how long they waited in line, yada yada. The hype is real.
Agreed, gamers who know better should stop buying their games
They'll still sell a lot of copies because most people don't know better and are easily manipulated by marketing, which is what Bethesda does best.
Thanks a lot. That's helpful to know.I researched several topics on this and did not get that information. So does that mean that it's actually preventing windows from doing a proper copy of the files? Is such that they are corrupt or unreadable in the destination drive?
Given the time and the resources they have to create their games, it's inexcusable, how clunky an outdated just overall shoddy their triple A titles are. They're becoming a joke in the industry among gamers. They can't even handle a simple update to fallout 4 without fucking it up And annoying...
It's pretty crazy how some developers almost seem to openly dislike or disrespect their customers
That's not a good business model
Iand who in the right mind would want to support a russian developer anyway
I am copying files from an encrypted external drive onto another encrypted external drive as back up. I am getting this notice on a lot of my files. It wouldn't be a problem but that I noticed in some cases, the files don't open or they behave oddly like a video being a blank white screen when...
Can't speak for Metro but STALKER GAMMA was a smooth gaming experience for me in terms of bugs, or lack thereof for noticeable ones. I would recommend a heavily modded STALKER.

playing or replaying a game like metro or stalker seems like a better plan, games that are legitimately great games

Worth backing when it launches if you like "real" RPGs that aren't dumbed down RPG-lite titles
I think most people will buy it just bc it's Star Wars and bc of the hype. Maybe it'll be good, who knows . Though Ubisoft Is infamous now for their generic open world formula. Some of the people at that studio are wokeaf on their social media, they dislike white men it seems.
