Selling the house and found some Lian Li side panels, case interiors etc while cleaning out the storage closet.
I have some PC-V350 (shows up on eBay pretty regularly) internals in anodized red. These are quite (if not insanely) rare and are Lian Li originals iirc. Fwiw the original outer shell...

I've had some other dealings with people on here recently, feel free to PM me to get more recent references that aren't on heatware.

Here's mine, "Payday". It started off as an Ecliptic Stiletto which I commandeered very early on from . At some point I modified it but wanted to keep the general lines intact. More importantly, I wanted maximum convenience: "single plane" design with minimal internal ladders and front Loading...
This game is a ridiculous timesink - and absolutely unbelievably stable for a 2023 released game let alone a Bethesda developed one! 691 minutes in a single session (with in-game menu pauses throughout the day). CP2077 wasn't able to do that (usually crashed after 15-20 minutes within the...
I wonder if it has to do with the somewhat flat global lighting in the Creation Engine and the default color "filters".
Interiors look absolutely incredible in this game, but large parts of exteriors like New Atlantis just look... flat and ~10 years old.
Up close the textures aren't even low-res...
Being mindful of spoilers - are there any significant game mechanics I miss out on besides if I just drop off Vasco in NA and never engage with the main quest again?
This game straight up looks like jagged trash on a 24" 1080P display (AW2523HF).
I am playing with Upscaling disabled currently which apparently also disables TAA.
If you have the horsepower and an Nvidia GPU (I have a 4070) I highly recommend using DLDSR:
Enable 2.25X DLDSR in Nvidia Control...
Probably depends on the in-game situation. Not just location/NPC density but possibly also what timed triggers etc are firing concurrently. Maybe sharing and loading a common savefile might show more consistent results across multiple machines?
It's also not entirely unreasonable to assume...
It will unlock right away - did for me when I bought it a couple hours ago.
Performance is good so far, I don't think I've noticed a dip below 60 FPS yet. Steam overlay doesn't work unless I switch to "Fullscreen" in-game - but that isn't fullscreen and instead a misaligned "floating" window so...
I'll post my experience once the game is done downloading.
I play at 1080P on a 4070 (non-Ti) so I am hoping for at least 60 FPS @ High (I heard Ultra has issues on Nvidia?).
That is not entirely true. Unlike Intel/AMD, Apple's hardware has very aggressive and incredibly fine-grained (at the design and circuit level) power- and clock-gating and dynamic frequency/voltage adjustment.
Add to that Apple's complete vertical stack integration (hw, fw, os, software) and you...
I really hope y'all are getting paid $$$ by AMD/Nvidia to spew this PR/branding horseshit in these threads.
... otherwise you're certified braindead for giving your time freely to defend these corporations. Holy shit.
I stand corrected; however, to be fair, Microsoft never made any public statements to counter this guy and the resulting media storm at the time (I realize that the release of Win11 implicitly negated all that).
I have a Quadro P600 with 4x mini DP ports (and the fullsize IO bracket). Specsheet says it can drive 4x 4K@60Hz displays.
PM me if you want it - $45 shipped F&F? I have heat under schoolslave.
Anyone remember when Microsoft actually employed proper UI/Design Engineers and published cohesive and exhaustive UI/Design documentation? Pepperidge fuckin' Farms remembers.
2018 matches up with the last time AMD released a BKDG (BIOS and Kernel Developer's Guide) for their platforms. The last one in 2018 covers Bulldozer iirc. If Lakados' rumors are true and nothing is properly documented internally that could explain why there's been no external BKDGs since...
Why? I hope you realize Spectre/Meltdown were most likely exploited years before public disclosure and that disclosure was only due to researchers (ie. young students like Google's Jann Horn) reverse engineering and then finding issues. Imagine if they had complete open access - skipping the...
I switched to Alpine Linux for all my desktop/laptop/workstation and even server systems over the last 2-3 years.
Previously I mostly ran Arch and Void. I really like the minimalism in terms of resource usage, non-bloated base install, and overall "professional" feel of Alpine.
It does have...
Final update - all my orders arrived (altogether 6 total, 4 during the last week of the sale).
One of the orders was missing two minor items, an email and 3 days later and they showed up too.
Hopefully everyone scored some good deals and good luck to the FrozenCPU crew!
