Looking for a top-end 1080 Ti or better, nvidia only. Looking in the $300-$400 range
PM me with what you have, if there is any warranty remaining, and how much you're asking shipped to 37932.
thanks DSee. I’ve “always wanted” a lian li case but I heard really good things about the p400a.
Last case I bought was a antec p192.
So far the vote is split. Need some better voter turn out :P
Trying to decide between Phanteks Eclipse P400A or LIAN LI LANCOOL II MESH RGB BLACK.

Super interesting concept. $2k for a standing desk isn’t too bad. Considering you also get a case with it and it is a niche product. I really like the see through top.
I think the question might be. How often to you completely upgrade your setup? How much air flow do you need etc.
For me a pc...
Thought this was an interesting post as I discovered Recently that most cases didn’t have 5.25 drives. Apparently it’s for better air flow and sleeker looks. I’m completely fine with this because I can’t tell you the last time I actually used the drive. I have an external already... that I’ve...
Dang bro relax. You don’t know me. No need to go crapping on my thread. We can all do without the extra attitude. The second half of your post is actually valid.
Noctua makes good coolers. I'm not sure how much clearance you really have but here is a low profile version.

the NH-D15 seems to be the best air cooler on the market, non sure if it will fit. they hlso have the HN-D15s which is the same...
I've never been able to get windows to sleep and wake up properly or consistently. Also, I dont know about you but when i'm using my pc, 90% of the time i'm not gaming, thread crunching ect. I'm mostly surfing the web.
Well I never turned it off. When I wasn’t using it basically sat idle generating very little heat using very little energy. Trust me I tested electric usage with and without. And the heat generation alone is huge.
TIL: What AVX and AVX offset were.
That great to know. It may not be TRUE over clocking but I ran a i7 920 for 10 years oc WITH speedstep enabled. Do you know how much money I saved by doing that? Lol
I’m looking for something to pair with my i9 9900 and valve index. I too am renting a 2060 Ko from BB looking for something permanent or at least smooth enough to play half life alyx. My current setup (i5 3570 8gb ram) seems to be the limiting factor.
Man I can’t even find a 2070 at BB!
I...
Haha for real. I Best Buy has it listed for $500 but I’ve got a feeling it won’t actually show up at that price. This is the first time I’ve tried to get a card on launch day.
Any suggestions to get maximizing the changes of getting one?
Over the years I upgraded hard drives, video cards (don’t always need the top of the line). More ram and Blu-ray drives. Last system lasted almost 10 years!
I’m in the same boat. My i7 920 just died a year ago and it was running with a fan strapped to the chipset. I’ve been running a cobbled together 3570. I’m looking at the b550 or the x470.
I just got an index as well. Good to know the 1080 might not keep up well. What’s the rest of your setup? I’m looking to get a 3700x and a 3070 or 2080.
I guess that's the crux of the argument for me. Will Intel at 7nm actually be faster than AMD even when you factor in a potential speculative exploit? Sure on a benchmark after a patch they may loose 100 points overall but in the real world it's actually 1000 points for a specific application...
I'm running a 920 @3.8 and honestly it's still kicking pretty well. Then again i don't game much but still. My laptop i7 7600u is slower than my 10 year old desktop in terms of raw processing power.
I'm super excited to see what AMD does here. I think this is where they live or die. They either execute 7nm well or intel comes back with a smack down. I'm always rooting for AMD and buying Intel, oh well.
