Depends on the game. Gast paced shooter type, no use in it. Slow or slower paced games that require you to look around for clues and such, it might be good.
OMG. This. I really didn't read any of the new comments. The guy is obviously a troll or off his meds.
There is no way a person can be this clueless? Right? Right?
I have not even looked into 11. I didn't even like 8 or 10. 10 does works with classic shell for me. Does 11 need the same?
I also am not sure I even have a ms account.....
Eh? I played games over the cable and wireless. Both worked great, but I love the wireless. Onward worked great and everything else. It looks great and I am on a lowly 1080ti.
Not sure on the graphics and res being low. It blows away the Original Rift, and doesn't it have better res than...
But at least he is pushing the limits and that is needed. Then it will push other companies/people to do the same, hopefully.
Remember that he may not be delivering everything he says, but that is also part of the learning process. Knowing what does not work.
We need more people like him!
The robots that the companies are building have different builds if you will. Tesla seems to be geared towards easy manual labor while Boston Dynamics has their robot trying to do tricks and such. I do. Ot know the engineering, but doing the tricks seems like it would take much more...
So I am redoing my cabinet and made a whole new one. I have a 9900k/32gb for a few cameras(4k), a Xeon E5-2620/16gb for fileserver/backup stuff.
I will have 2 motherboards that will be dedicated for mining. I want to have 2 backup miners(Ryzen 3600/1700 16gb) that will run WCG when not mining...
Seems like the technology for VR is there, but no big GPU to power them. I was hoping for maybe an sli/cf solution. Also I would love for VR to have both options for tracking. I really like the separate tracking like the Rift and Index.
Since I got the good wireless router, I can do my VR in the living room with a much bigger space than the VR bedroom.
The router is within 15ft of the VR space so it works great. Just need to get the tracking good as I can. I understand it wont be good as the 4 sensor setup I had before.
Maybe...
Not sure if you are kidding or not. Full 4 sensors vs the built in on the hmd is better? Have you tried 4 sensors? It detected everything. The built on to hmd can only see so much. Light is not going to help here. There are some circumstances that it just can't see. Try looking forward...
Been playing Onward with the Quest 2. Looks great, but I really do not like the tracking. I miss my original Rift with the 4 sensors.
I do hope they add an option for the light towers. That would really be great.
Just bought the Quest 2 with cable. It looks better than the cv1. I have not tried Onward totally with it. Just loaded it on the wife's unit and had her play a bit. I really like it which is why I got one. I am going to try the cable soon.
