Since I use mods, I have FO4 set to only update if opened thru Steam. What did I find? It had the 14.1 gig update queued. I had to stop the download, it's sitting on "suspended" now, but still on the download page.
I'd wait until at least F4SE is updated, and maybe the "Unofficial Fallout 4 patch", they are the basis for a lot of mods. Plus "Baka Scrapheap" and maybe "Buffout", too.
I'm torn, primarily from expecting their voices to match the games, lot's of cognitive dissonance there, especially Claptrap's voice. And the female actors seem to be trending older (they're all still looking good, but they are visibly older than in the games). Unless it's set in the future...
IV is missing some things compared to III, changes that I have found so far are: ships you get for free (stacked in a fleet) in early game can take on guards of the good anomalies; game is broken into smaller areas that need hypergates researched to get to other areas/races (a la MOO); GUI (of...
Yeah, didn't know it was on Epic, got an email from Stardock about the Steam posting. Playing now, more complex than III, but still has the basic bones.
Try Sim Settlements 2 (https://simsettlements.com/site/index.php), not only builds up your settlements, has a pretty good quest line. They have options of placing your own layout or choosing one of the user-designed settlements, then assign a mayor. It's kind of a 'set it and forget it' mod...
You'll have to be careful with SS2 (plus it's expansion). Do things in the exact order for quests, not a lot of leeway because of the scripts. Positioning relative to the quest object is important, too, many times you'll think the script went off the rails when you needed to be a few feet to...
F4SE notwithstanding, what about the myriad other mods that depend on regular scripts. I'm on a couple of discord forums and they're not happy at what's likely to happen. Not every mod (cc excluded, maybe) that Beth will work with. It's looking like there will have to be an "oldFO4" and...
Sorry, haven't delved into PFsense, just PaloAlto, cisco & fortigate, so I can't help you without training up on PFsense. As ComputerBox34 said, the link-local addresses are just for neighbor discovery (the mechanism that ipv6 uses for auto-discovery) and shouldn't be used for routing. IPv4...
Like computerbox34 said, firewalls today don't make a distinction between ipv4 rules and ipv6 rules (thank god), you don't have to make separate rules or separate virtual firewalls (with all their routing pita's), it's just a rule the has both address types. If you have a firewall between you...
Got a question about AS:V, I just got back into it after a few months, had 4-5 consecutive updates, then wouldn't start until I rebooted, finally got it running again. Now when I melee I get what looks like a rain of icicles? They don't do any damage that I can see, but I'm busy fighting so...
Try some ginger capsules, works for vertigo/nausea for me.
The mushroom is a tank, enemies go after it, leave you alone. I've only had to revive it early on, late game it stands up to bosses pretty well. I've found that the legendaries have worse stats than say, the purple's. My go-to's...
Nah, nothing else noticeably wrong, it just weirds me out, game runs pretty smoothly at almost max settings. It's just those little shifts back and forth......
This is the first full screen, shows 'logging yournamehere in'. If you look at the letters, the background kind of vibrates. Of course it might be my trusty 1080ti getting ready to go to the great graphics hunting ground in the sky, or my eyes are getting ready to go. But I DO see the small...
I'm 69 (yes, no shit), retired and find that shooters are harder now, I over shoot on aim and it's tougher to zero in, waste a lot of ammo, can't play twitch shooters any more. Don't have the patience any more for some slowly-developing games. Otherwise I have no guilt playing for hours (I was...

One less launcher cluttering up my desktop.
This, for the SB8200. And, I get my modem disabled about once/month, trying to get this escalated so it doesn't keep happening and forcing my call. At least I can short-circuit they use when I tell them it's 99.9% most likely disabled by their system.
Have my own SBG-8300 w/comcast. Just keep you eyes out for them disabling your modem in the middle of the night without warning, and enabling your old modem. Lucky I had my old modem (went from DOCSIS 3.0 to 3.1, so had my old one handy) so I wasn't down for a week waiting for the tech to...
The combat controls are, for me, really badly placed. "c" to dodge (and "q" to parry) are hard for me to hit while moving. I've tried moving the binding to other keys, but maybe I'm getting too old for these type of games.
This weeks challenge is 250 kills with a grenade. But, shock/freeze/corrosive/etc do not count, only 'pure' grenade kills it looks like. I killed a lot of enemies with grenades (level 72 homing grenades), but they had extra effects, only had 3 kills count out of oh, 50.
I've got Comcast's premium service (can't remember their marketing name right now) with an ARRIS SURFboard SBG8300, just tested and I get ~450Mb (depending on which test site I use) down, and 23Mb up, latency ~25ms. No experience with any other broadband except AT&T dsl, which sucks.
BB seems to have a cool down wait after you get it in your cart. Don't know if that will help with the bots, tho. waiting on a 3090 for @1500. On the other hand, that discord server is quick enough to get to the stock before they are gone, for BB anyway.
Well, crap, no luck this time. It's...
The BestBuy rep was an online rep in a chat window, I was looking at the email and was asking when any would be in stock, they said 5 Apr at the earliest, I was assuming online. No idea about in-store.
I got the latest sale email from Bestbuy, of course nothing in stock, but the cust rep said they are expecting nvidias Apr 5 - 10, no specifics on vendors quantities, I was asking about the evga gforce 3080 FTW for $899. not a great price, but not silly like the 3090's. They may be getting...
