I haven't had a chance to play with this latest G-Sync driver but the workaround has worked for every driver I used before it. I don't update that regularly but I'm also never that behind. I would say that workaround is solid for all newer drivers.

I'll give that a try. I forgot what kind of DP cable I got but without G-Sync it is capable of running 144hz at 1440p. Maybe G-Sync/Freesync puts it over the top I guess. Thanks for the heads up.
