I finished the rebuild and ended up with:
Ryzen 9 7900X
Asus Prime X670E-Pro WiFi
32 GB Corsair Vengance DDR5-6400
2 TB Samsung M2 PCIE 4.0 HD
ASUS TUF GeForce 4080
Corsair ICU 4000 Case
EVGA 1000W PSU
It was a ridiculous amount of money that I spread out over two months but, easily the...
So I haven't upgraded my system in almost 4 years and have been runnin an MSI 2080 RTX I think I paid close to $1K for when it came out. So in addition to doing a complete rebuild of the rig I was originally looking for a Radeon 7900 XTX but they are no where to be found but I was able to get...
Thanks for this breakdown. I'm in the same boat as the OP and haven't built a rig in 4 years. I don't really have the need, but I have the time and desire . The GPU market has caught me totally off guard.
46 here and still play...although not as much as I used to. I loved Quakeworld back in the 90's but sadly bifocals and just slower reflexes take the enjoyment out of FPS games.
As for the PC, I'm in the Camelot Unchained alpha/beta (DAoC) was my favorite MMO and I recently played the hell...
Some early thoughts on the game after getting to level 10.
1) The game is much more fun if you are in a fire team rather than trying to go alone solo....it gets old quick.
2) There needs to be more loot...more shiny shit to collect. Someone compared this to Diablo and I think it that is a...
Just purchased this motherboard based on the Hard review. I cant wait to put the new rig together next week when everything arrives. I do like the stability testing that went into the product....I can't believe it's been 4 years since I upgraded.
I've been playing as a monk and loading up on every +Dex item I can find. Once you get Cyclone that increases in intensifies with each crit....I feel like I can engulf the entire freaking map with the cyclone.
It's really a nice port of the game. Playing on the 360 and really enjoying it. The controls are very intuitive and the co-op play either in the same room or over XBL has been pretty much flawless. Definitely worth the money.
Not having an AH makes it sooooo much more fun.
This was nothing short of amazing and provided this comes in a decent price point of $399 to $499, Microsoft will be printing their own money with this. The "reveal" got a lot of the bs fluff out of the way and in a couple of weeks, the focus should be on the games at E3.
I'll say this...the difference between the 900 and the 920 is like night to day. My wife had a 900 and she absolutely hated the thing. So much so that she's gone back to an iPhone 5. With that said, I could understand her frustrations with the lack of apps and the inability to resize her...
Lumia 920 owner here and really like the device and OS. I get asked all the time what type of phone it is...has everything I could possibly want in a phone.
This boils down to DEBT. It's not medicare, medicaid, social security or defense spending at any given snapshot in time. It's about wanting the best of everything (social services and military alike) and not being willing to pay for it. We have been doing this as a country for year after year...
It sounds to me that Elder Scrolls Online will be pretty close to DAoC 2 type of game....not sure there is marketplace for two games like this. Although it will be 2+ years before we really see anything out of CU. I've been debating for two weeks now on whether or not to give money.
I'll add my $0.02 in on the battery issue. I bought the 920 on launch day and have been using the phone quite a bit and simply love it. I charged this up about 10PM last night to a full charge and as of now, nearly 10AM I am at 86%. Now I've only done a little bit of web browsing and some...
I'm in the same boat on the 920...I wonder who is dropping the ball AT&T or Microsoft. I was expecting to see this phone on the 4th at the latest but I've seen some reports saying now its the 11th.
Shame on me...I was actually thinking of the HTC 8S http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/htc-windows-phone-8s-1098442/review
The Lumia 820 has the changeable backplates....which I like the orange.
I voted for yellow and that's what I'll get....however I reserve the right to switch to an 820 because that gray and neon xbox ring green 820 looks freaking badass. I'm not sure I need the horsepower of the 920.
As a Templar on Huldra, I would say most nights we go looking for a fight in Fusang there is no one there to fight. I know there are several large well co-ordinated Templar guilds that really make an effort to go there.
The buffs you talk about are all great to have and are worth fighting...
Fusang is not like the Frontier was in DAoC. There are objectives to capture and if you control the majority of the spawn points your whole realm, ie...Templar, Dragon, Illuminati get bonuses. So there is some incentive to control Fusang. However, there are no relics/prices that you capture...
I keep telling friends to get this game. An MMO is an MMO is an MMO and they all have the same basic concepts. However, Funcom really has put some things together here that make the replay value very high. Some things I like:
1) The game is hard and unforgiving but not to the point of...
I had super high expectations for GW2 and zero expectation for TSW....as it turns out, I positively hated GW2 and loved the TSW beta experience. I'll end up trying both, but TSW surpsised me.
I remember very vividly when Diablo II was released, it too received alot of criticism for having "dated" graphics...especially those in D2 Act I. Although I would have liked the option to distribute my stats how I see fit, the reality is that within 48-hours of release these days, there are...
My early access email came this morning about 7:40am EST. I had pre-ordered way back in July. I still haven't received a notice for a second copy I pre-ordered in September. Now the work day just needs to end a little quicker.
I picked up an HTC Surround two days ago and thought I would relate my experience for those who are interested in a Windows Phone 7.
Some basics on how I ended up with a HTC Surround...
I get a nice 25% discount on all hardware and plans for AT&T through my wifes company. That adds up...
I'm a little over two weeks in on my 30-day grace period on the Captivate. I went from a iPhone 3G to the Captivate and no doubt about it, the AMOLED screen is fan freaking tastic. However, I've grown to hate the Captivate and I'll be exchanging for a WP7 phone on the 8th when they are...
I'm in the process of deciding on a new phone now that my iPhone3G contract has been up for a while. Over the past week or so, I did some looking at the Mobile Phone forum here and read bunches of reviews of the HTC Aria and Samsung Captivate and previews of these spanky new Windows 7 Phones...
The beacon on the Gulf Tower is supposed to let you know about the weather....I wonder if that's messed up too.
I've done some redevelopment work in alot of older downtown Pgh buildings, you would be amazed at all of the old shit that is still functional in most of those buildings...
My kid broke her phone and now I need to get a replacement. Needs to be AT&T or unlocked, preferably in teh $50-$100 price range. Send PM if you have anything available.
This past weekend I bought a PS3 pretty much just to get the Blu-Ray. You see, we had a Wii that I bought for the family and in the past 6 months it did nothing but collect dust. Essentially every member of the family hated the Wiimotes and in general the games seemed to be lackluster for us...
I just purchased this phone for my wife who HAD to have a pink phone....well she hates it and I can't return it. The phone was purchased from CyberCellulars for $94.
What you get:
Retail Box
Pink Razr V3 - UNLOCKED
Car Charger
Wall Outlet Charger
Data Cable
Pocket Holder...
