The reason is because I have a RTX 4080 coming my way, and I'm making assessment if it is one or the other.
FYI: I have an EVGA 1000W 80+ Platinum now, but it's been at least two or three years old.
TIA for your opinions or suggestions/recommendations.
This frame strengthener/leveler, does it suppose to help with more equal applying pressure? Regarding the AM5 version: Has anyone done a test if there is any improvement at all? I saw a few YouTube installations, but not a test to see if it improves anything.
I know starting with Intel...
As the title says, which one and why? Considering the normal X's price is down below $600 at MC, whereas the X3D one will still be at $699.99 at launch. Not that I'm going to jump on the bandwagon (cuz I'm broke now), but I just like your opinion. I might jump on the bandwagon after I'm back...
As the title says...

So, having watched this horrible VGA Power Cable melting on Youtube, does anyone here have this problem so far? It's OOS now, so I'm waiting for it to become available, but having seen this problem, it makes me worry should I buy one. What do you guys think?

So, I'm about to send in an Asus motherboard that is missing the video card clip/retainer and the USB3.0 header plastic retainer, would this cause Asus to treat the board as damaged therefore sending it back without repair?
I bought it used from a local guy here and they came without those...
Has anyone noticed after updating to BIOS F35e that Re-Bar in the BIOS is either Auto or Disabled and no longer the option for Enabled? Up to previous BIOS, there's the Enabled option, now no longer available. Now, in EVGA Precision...
Selecting Auto doesn't make EVGA Precision act any...
Wow, even at the local MC, the price is $150 up from the MSRP (of $549.99)! It's now sitting at $699.99!!! More expensive than the 16-core R9 3950X!!! Wow...just wow... Well, at least it's still more affordable than other websites.
Here you go, guys!
Up for grab are three GPUS:

Okay, so here where I live, there's a local Micro Center like 20 minutes away. Lately, been going there, setting up chairs, and just chill overnight with a bunch of gamers and computer enthusiasts. We were all there for a reason: To see if there are any GPUs in the truck. Sometimes there were...
It seems my VID (according to CoreTemp) is running high. This is on my X570 AORUS Master. Is VID the same as vcore voltage? It's running 1.4740v even when doing nothing, or just web browsing. Is that considered high? Overdrive Boost is set to Auto in the BIOS.
I just realized MC raised the price on the 3600 from $199.99 to $229.99! First, the 5600X went from $299.99 to $349.99, then the 3600 went from $199.99 to $229.99. What's going on now?
Just realized this CPU is now at $349.99! Up from $299.99! What the heck is going on? Scalping! Nah, it's still at MSRP. Oh well, not the one I would jump on anyway. I'm into the 5950X, which is OOS forever!
BOOO!!!!!
In case someone is in desperation of needing one, the local MC in the Twin Cities here has a bunch of them in the case. I forgot the price, though, so go and check the accurate price and decide if you should pull the trigger or tie your finger instead.
As the title says, up for grab is a lightly used mid-top tier board. MINT condition. Works perfectly. This is revision 1.1, which has the Thunderbolt connector. The original rev. 1.0 doesn't have this option.

I saw 5 5500 XTs at Microcenter for $379.99 each. I was told earlier in the morning they had some 3070, but were sold out within minutes. Boy, we are starving vultures!

For those that really want an RTX 3090, but can never get a hold of one, go to Dell's website, order an Alienware pre-built R12 system and configure a 3090 for roughly $3500 and get yourself one to play with so you won't be drooling all over your computer table.
Granted, it's not the $1500ish...
I was at Microcenter and saw 4 6700 XTs (when I got to the case). Two people bought two right away and only 2 left. The prices were outrageous! They were charging $800+. So, not only individuals bump up the price, but businesses do it as well. I guess I don't feel too bad now. I want to...
I truly believe AMD misses this supreme chance to really put their CPUs out there. Intel is catching back up because AMD went MIA when their chance emerges. Me, I'm no loyal to any brand. Whatever brand is best at the time, I just jump on that bandwagon. Now, I'm on 3950X just because...you...
As title says...
1) AMD Ryzen 9 3950X. Retail box but only CPU will be shipped to save shipping cost. COVID-19 drives shipping cost through the roof lately. There is a special incentive attached that the buyer will get with purchase of this CPU. PM for more information.

Is it worthwhile to get this "only 999 made" motherboard? Ye or Ne? Why or why not? Maybe only as a collector's item and not meant to be used normally.
